THE DIRTY DOZEN CHEMICALS IN COSMETICS

So many individuals are very aware of eating nutritious, checking out ingredients and attempting to stay healthy, but have never learned to check the ingredients of products that they use on a daily basis, such as deodorant, toothpaste, hairspray and cosmetics. I try to stay on top of what products are going green and are the most pure.

Here is a list of ingredients to be aware of that are in the list of the dirty dozen chemicals to avoid in cosmetics and beauty products:

1. Antibacterials
2. Coal Tar
3. Diethanolamine (DEA)
4. 1,4-Dioxane
5. Formaldehyde
6. Fragrance
7. Lead and Mercury
8. Nanoparticles
9. Parabens
10. Petroleum Distillates
11. P-Phenylenediamine
12. Hydroquinone
